    hi my cars nct expires in sept 12, whats the new law on cars 10 years or older and will it apply to my car as it'll just turn 10 years old in a few months, it should pass so will it get a 1 year nct or 2 year nct. or should i get 1 sooner than that to make sure i get the 2 years nct.

    You can do the NCT up to three months early but you will only get a 1 year cert.
