My Epson printer has finally passed away... (I cried a little!)...

My old Epson R300 printer has given up... so time to get a new one... and i loved the fecking thing cause you could print printable face cds in it!

I have been looking at the Kodak range on amazon uk as the two inks are very reasonably priced and as it has wifi printing and over email printing (at least wifi printing is a must for me as where the printer is located)

Also spotted it in my local PC world, but was more expensive.
I only use the printer for document printing (lots of documents hence the need for cheap blank ink carts!) and the odd A4 photo print or normal photo print (but not very often)

Anyone know where it is maybe a small bit cheaper if possible?

Anyone used this range and any feedback on it?

    Thanks.

The Kodak one doesn't do CD printing I'm sure you are aware? I have an r360 and its a great printer, hope it doesn't die soon although its quite old at this stage :( . I think only Epsons and Canons do CD printing, I think Canons have issues with full face printing, well certainly the software that came with them did.
I have heard mixed reviews about Kodaks, they seem cheap but the inks run out very fast and I don't think there are many re manufactured inks out there for them, same with HP and Lexmark. The newer Epson printers that use Durabrite ink seem to be prone to ink clotting so I'd probably reccomend looking at Canon or Brother machines.
For ink costs check out www.inkjet.ie, www.justmedia.ie, www.inkmaestro.ie etc. and see if you can get cheap replacement ink. Epsons, Brothers and Canons seem to have the cheapest ones

Thanks yoyo, yeah, i do know that printers nowadays dont have cd printing... not looking for that with my new purchase... my days of printing lovely artful cd faces for my music collection are long over! but it was a fantastic feature in the epsons back then...

I too spotted that there are good and bad reviews on the kodak in particular including fast ink usage...

Basically i am looking for a wifi printer (Maybe with email receive printing) that i will be printing many many documents and the odd photo or two.

anyone on here have one of these kodaks and could give me feedback?
