Hi all, just wondering if anyone can shed some light on this for me. i got a letter today saying that my "lone parent income will cease to be paid into your bank account on the 12th jan" and i now have to collect it from my local post office.

Dose anyone know why they have done this. It seems a bit out of the blue to be honest.
has anyone else received similar or why would this happen.

i think to be honest its to cut down on fraudulent claims , much like the SW id imagine, i think there was something on the news about it? u could maybe ring them and find out? id say ppl were claiming and they didnt actually deserve it , not 100% sure tbh as im not a lone parent vaguely remember seeing something on the news tho.

thanks for that, yep your right, i just panicked when i saw the letter, i thought maby i hadnt got a form in post or didnt do something.

i rang them, they said its all lone parents now accross the board that have to pick it up at post office. so its all ok.

supose it would sort the false claims and aswel save bank charges maby.

    thanks for that Play Bunny.
