Patio or French Doors

I am looking for sliding patio doors or French Doors. Dimension 2100-2400mm wide and 2100mm high or something about that size ie. Quite wide. I can have the builder make the opening to whatever size. Where should I go for a price. Has anyone found a place particularly good value. He can fit them.

French doors will be quite a bit cheaper than sliding doors so that may make the decision for you.

Any advice on patio doors - I want to get wooden doors and don't know whether I should have sliding ones or not - or opening out or in?? - any ideas please?
