Hopefully this is the right forum.
I keep getting these errors when trying to play files in bs player and media player.
Googled it and got a RegistryBooster scan saying i have 560 system errors, and just purchase this programme to get rid of all the errors.

any way to do the same thing with freeware??

Don't purchase anything, get a proper media player like VLC or MediaPlayerClassic, and a free AV while you're at it like Avira, AVG, Avast or MS SecurityEssentials.

And do a full scan !

Do you use Windows Blinds? (A Windows theming program) That DLL is prob part of the Windows Blinds program. And don't buy anything, if you are getting constant pop ups asking you to buy registry booster you likely have a rogue anti virus, use something like Malwarebytes to get rid of it if possible

Windows Blinds - no, no idea what that is?
I have zonealarm and avast running all the time.

Is BS player dodgy - i usually use windows media player, but that won't play anything for me now so i'm using BS - also use VLC at times

    +1

If you really need a registry scanner, you could try Auslogics Registry Cleaner: http://www.auslogics.com/en/software/registry-cleaner/

You should also uninstall Windows Blinds and contact Stardock (who make this app) about the error...

Hmm, don't really know if that went well or not!?
I downloaded that Blinds but an error occured when i tried to uninstall, system froze so i had to force close. When I restarted the windows skin looks completely different. Then when i went to add/remove it said it "may" have been removed, and did i want to remove the listing from the add/remove, clicked yes and my media player seems to be fine etc. but still "looks" different??

Anyway thanks for help, all seems to be ok now?
