Hi, this may be a silly question.

I'm going to try to sell some items on ebay. How does one know when someone buys your item, are you sent an email or does it come up in your ebay account as a new message?

Is the money sent directly to your penpal account? I suppose you go into your penpal account to transfer money to your bank account. How much is one charged by penpal for this, a per cent?

Hey, this is what to do - you set up an account on ebay; you then advertise your item and include options such as shipping (ie international) and include how much you want to charge for international shipping if that's what you want to do. Once your item is sold, ebay will notify you by email. Ebay will take a small percentage (the higher the amount, the less they take). Meanwhile, you will need to link a paypal account to your ebay account. Once the person has paid through paypal, you can then transfer that amount to your bank account that you have set up with paypal. Again, paypal will take a percentage - the more the amount, the lower the percent. All in all, take into account about 10% fees when selling on ebay.
