Woods near Athenry (on Tourlough road)-how to access?

    Hi,
    I live in Lackagh, sometimes drive to the playground in Athenry with my kids.
    On the road from Tourloughmore to Athenry there's quiet a large woods on the right hand side (there's a school next to it I think).

    It might be a nice place to explore with my kids. But does anyone know where there's any entry points to it and are there any walkable paths etc in it?

    Also any other woods near Lackagh? I know the one in Clarinbridge and past Salthill but they're a long drive from where I live.
