15k-18k car for father

    The auld lad's car suffered massive engine failure over the new year so he's looking at options at the moment.

    He's looking to spend around 16k on 2010-2011 ideally but could probably push up to 18k if the spec warranted it.

    So far we've had our eyes on Megane, Qashai, Greenline Superb, Yeti (maybe) and a Mazda 6..

    He wouldn't be one for BMWs and is looking more towards comfort, fuel economy, reliability and lower enough tax band.

    Any ideas or recommendations lads?
