Coffee and vitamin supplements

    Hello,

I have been advised by my GP to take a good multivitamin containing iron. I have been reading books on nutrition, and the advice given here, and one of the things I am confused about is the effect coffee can have on supplements.
As one of my little pleasures in the morning is a cup of fresh coffee, I was wondering how soon after taking supplements can I drink coffee, or how long should I wait after drinking coffee to take a supplement. Sorry if this question has been asked before. I am confused by all the advice, my head is swimming. Also what effect does one have on the other? Thanks for any advice

In general, take vitamin supplements with food. Coffee isn't really an issue unless there are other factors.
