There were talking about a 23 stone Boar with Tusks stalking chickens and ruining gardens or is this just Hog wash the person talking was Con Flynn from the Irish wild life trust its true there are wild Boar in Ireland possible brought into Ireland and Released. In Wicklow a Sow and 9 young were seen there saying there European Wild Boar is what is here. Main problems are traffic problems as you may hit one running accross a road and the little fellows following Mammy they are talking about the sow been dangerous when they have young they need to be monitored not a real danger to Humans but should not be approched as they foraged and do cause damage to ground they are a native species to Ireland if you see one report it to Irish Wildlife Trust at wwwiwt.ie or National Parks and Wildlife Services you can catch the Programme on www.tv3.ie/3player hope this helps trying to type as there talking
