Hi all,

Have done a lot of research and am considering applying for the Dip in Psychology course at UCC (have BA & Hdip Ed).

I'd love to hear from anyone who has applied for this course, any feedback or issues you encountered along the way. While I have worked professionally since graduating, I have been out of the 'academic' arena for 12 years now - has anyone been similar, applied and been successful?

I'm considering applying for voluntary work placements to aid my application - would the majority of candidates have proven work experience in some field of psychology prior to application. Would this be a pre-requisite?

Very interested in hearing about peoples backgrounds, previous qualifications and working experience prior to applying for this course. Hope to hear from you.. thanks!
