Most of the related stickies seem dead so this is an attempt to get a boards ladder up and running. If you want to play chess for fun or utter domination of lesser mortals, please post here and we can get a boards.ie ladder running on redhotpawn

Does this work with correspondence chess? I've used ladders before for blitz chess, where a single game is played and it's easy to update the ladder. For correspondence chess though, when you're playing multiple games at once, it all gets very complicated & confused. I didn't join the ladder the last time as to me the rules just didn't make sense!

At the risk of sounding old school, why not try a league/cup/both in combination?
