Hi do anyone remember man from atlantis.....used to be on saturday mornings...played by patrick duffy who was bobby ewing in Dallas...i've never seen it re-run anywhere.....has anyone here or can you get a box set.....oh ya and he had webbed feet:D

We were so innocent that we really thought he had webbed feet, strange looking at him in the shower in "Dallas" with normal toes.:o

My brother used to watch this and get down on the carpet and pretend he was the Man From Atlantis.

Don't think I could watch it again,better to remember it was good,than think it cringeworthy now.

I remember it well. My sister and me thought he was lovely....I remember he was on the cover of the Tv Times once...and we were squabbling over who was going to hold this picture during the episode we were watching:). You can get some of the episodes on Youtube. I didn't find him nearly as attractive as Bobby in Dallas, dunno why.

In my opinion Patrick Duffy was quite representative of a discontinuity between poeple born in the sixties and those (lesser!) beings born in the seventies.

There he was as Man from Atlantis inheriting from "Boy's Own" style progs like Six Million Dollar Man, Gemini Man, etc. and then he suddenly does "Dallas".

Well I suppose Victoria Principal would make any man do anything ... even if it's to split a a generation in two!

I tried to be the Man from Atlantis in our local swimming pool and puked up a gallon of water on the way home. It wasn't to be.

Brilliant show. There's nothing much to be found online. I have a brother heading to the States in the Summer and we'll organise the series.

I watched a lot of the episodes on youtube a few months ago.
The quality was crap but I loved that show.

I was a big fan of this programme back in the day. Sadly, I tried in vain to get a yellow pair of swimming togs so I could 'be' the Man from Atlanti ! I bought a DVD set of a few episodes on TVADDICTS.tv and they posted to Ireland. It's for sale at the minute for $3 !! Alhough this site does not sell official DVD's it does have some hard to find titles, like the whole series of 'Family Ties'. Worth a look.
