so i was out early today with orwell wheelers doing a 45km spin out to eniskerry. On this particular hill i felt like i could not continue. I wanted to stop and pull over... But i couldnt. I was wondering has anyone experienced this before and what do you do to resolve it? I kept going but it was the worst feeling. :(
Is this common or is it just me?...

Every cycle, tbh if your on a training spin and your not stretched at some point your not cycling hard enough!!!

Its only January, its going to be tough, in a few weeks you'll fly up that hill with a secret smile.
Big congrats for pushing through and not stopping by the way!

Out yesterday myself, and was struggling on hills that I'd have found easy last autumn. Looking around, they're were plenty of cyclists out, but none of them were tearing up the hills with a smile on their face. I reckon each km in the hills in January is worth 2-3km on the same hill in the summer. In terms of not being able to stop on the hill, I keep a couple of gears held back for such emergencies, so I can drop down a spin to catch my breath.

No... the worst feeling would be if you got home and realised you gave up too easily:D.
