    Hi Folks,

Been running now for about 7 months and current have my 5km time hovering around the 18/19 minute mark (Is that good?)

Over Christmas I ran at different times than I usually do. Some around Lunchtime (Having eaten breakfast) and some just before Dinner (Having eaten lunch). I generally wait 2 hours after eating before running, any sooner and I cramp.

What I noticed is my lunchtime runs I'd be absolutely lumbering along with no energy, while if I ran closer to dinner, I'd be in a far better state. So my question is, which is a better time to run for fat / toning? I know one school is to run before eating at all,but I'm not in a position to do that.

Lastly, my current plan is 4 days running, with one day off, in a cycle. For the next while it's possible that I might have to change that i.e.Maybe two days on, one off, three on etc. Is it better to try keep a steady schedule or is One Off, One On a better scenario?

    Many thanks!
