Hey there guys, I'm a 1st year psychology student but anyway in 1st year we have to pick 2 other modules from a selection of 5.

2 of those options are maths & bio which I am hopeless at so ended up picking language and cultural studies for semester 2. Just wondering does anyone have any idea what it involves i.e. do you study a language and the culture of that country or what?

    Thanks in advance guys :)

I did that last year (part of a different course)

It's basically about how language influences/is influenced by culture- looks at a few theories, and things like euphemisms etc etc. It's interesting enough. I think it involved an exam and a presentation.
