    Hi,
ive just recently bought a home with a bio cycle unit(not sure if its the make or just the type)think its just the type as it doesnt look like one on the site ..first time as ive always been connected to mains sewage in previous homes..the only information on it is its called mini bio, first thing ive noticed is the mcb has tripped alarm gone off so i checked it out ...tank is full and im guessing pump or blower has electrical fault hence mcb trip,so im looking to get it serviced and i suppose drained.just looking for recommendations for a service /repair septic tank bio cycle company in dunshaughlin ,meath...

    thanks

    Hi,
    Funny you should mention this.
I live near Dunshaughlin and also have a Mini-Bio system.
When we moved in just over a year ago the pump wasnt working so had to get that replaced. We called to the guy that advertises Pumps across from the Campus garage if you know it, and he replaced the pump (He was involved in original install aswell I believe. PM me if you want his number).
The last couple of weeks the system has tripped again a few times and the smell when the oxygenation starts up is really bad. I checked the tank and it looks about half full and a bit clogged so will need to get it checked and emptied.
I'll give the pump guy a call first. Someone also suggested having a farmer come and empty it as thats cheaper...
Let me know how you get on.

Yes I got a quote also for 180 (+vat @13.5) for service/emptying of tank. Guess that's the going rate.
