So I thought it might be a good idea for people to have a thread where we can post which movies we have watched on Netflix and our thoughts.
The selection is so large it might be good for one to have a quick look for feedback on content before chosing what to watch!

    So i'll start

Title: Max Manus: Man of War
Genre: War / Action / Foreign
    Rating * * * * *

    Quick intro
Dismayed by Norway's swift capitulation to Nazi Germany during World War II, Max Manus -- who would become one of Norway's greatest war heroes -- immediately joined the Resistance. This biographical drama tells his story.

    My Verdict
This is now without doubt one of my favourite WW II movies!
It was great to see a WW II movie told from a different angle, as apposed to the American story of how they saved the world. This movie has fantatstic action, brilliant acting from all the cast and also a decent sub-plot. It keeps you on your toes for most of the running time. It is one of the only WWII movies Ive seen that deals with PTSD.

A truly great movie...would recommend to all.
    - My girlfriend also enjoyed it thoroughly

Nice one - I came on here to start the exact same thread!

I watched Dogtooth on Netflix last night.

Very strange Greek movie about a family kept hidden away in an alternative world by a controlling and manipulative father. Quite explicit and disturbing at times, but very well made and stays in the mind long after. Highly recommended

Can you include the movie rating also, 18, 16, 12, PG etc

BTW: I was a member of Netflix in the US and the selection of DVD's was way larger than streamed entries.

    Thanks

Sorry guys, but we already have a Netflix thread and a recently watched thread. Use one of them instead please. This will just turn into another general discussion thread relating to Netflix.
