Just a quick question on this ever lasting debate. Soon ready to start on raft and the foundations are drawn up with areas extended to take stone then the rest is the standard step. After reading the debate on putting insulated slab on the inside with problems with grounds etc could i install a 100/150mm cavity with out redesigning the raft and also is window constrution harder with a 100/150mm cavity also roofing wider wall plate? Any help appreciated because seriously thinking about the insulated slab problem and dont want any regrets
    thanks

You are asking a question that entails a reply on a structural element of your proposal. This is in breach of the form charter (which I suggest you read btw).
