    Trailer

Looks like a fun popcorn flick kinda reminds me of Phone Booth mixed with Inside Man maybe.

Banks is quiet good in comedy roles so it will be interesting to see how she fairs in a action drama and Worthington seems to be next big action star taking over from Gerard Butler who prefers rom coms now :p

I'm not really sure how this differs from your last thread on the subject

Looks like absolute bollocks in any case.

I glimpsed a poster for this in the cinema today and thought it was documentary about suicide.

It does star someone called Genesis Rodriquez, which is by all accounts a ****ing awesome name.

It look like someone took last years underrated and hardly seen The Ledge and decided to tack on a generic action subplot.

Looks like someone was watching some Guy Maddin...

What annoys me is the trailer pretty much tells the whole story of the film. Why not leave out the bit about the bank robbery and surprise the audience? Such lazy trailer making these days. :(

Speaking of which, I went on a binge of Guy Maddin films a while ago. It's probably one of the reasons why I found The Artist so underwhelming.

If the trailer starts with the Summit Logo, I'm 99.99% sure that the film is going to be a sack of shit.

Ha, I've been saying the same thing to a number of people as well. What have you checked out? I'd defo recommend My Winnipeg and The Saddest Music in the World, as well as The Heart of the World short. Probably his most accessible work.

I haven't seen any of his shorts, but I've watched most of his features, or at least the more recent ones and was very impressed. He's pretty out there, but an extremely unique talent.

I'll check out The Heart of the World next.

Only problem with Guy Maddin is how hard it is to get his stuff :(

I fell in love with My Winnipeg when I saw it in the cinema. A few of them seem to be available on DVD now so must check 'em out.

I'm starting to hate Sam Worthington for some reason.

If you access the US netflixs store which is easy to do you can find a couple if his features. I was given a complete collection of his shorts a few years back but a college friend borrowed them and never returned it. Still trying to get it back but at this stage I'm assuming I'll never see it again

I saw it couple of days ago. Your average american action film, saved IMO by the tight editing.

Watched this the other night plot was obvious from the get go with no twists or surprises imo and you could tell who were
    the dirty cops
and outcome a mile away, comes no where close to Inside Man and the lead roles are miscast
