Well if you can train them to do the washing up and the dusting too, you're onto a winner definitely!

Setup some stop motion cameras in your room and sitting room. You can purchase cheap enough ones either online or somewhere like Maplins

There is nothing there to suggest "haunted" Everything you have described sounds like you have a human in your house.

Stacking , yes it has been reported poltergeists love to stack. But humans love to stack more then anybody. This is how IKEA stay in business selling shelves :)

Are you living in the house long? did this start all of a sudden?

I've seen it mentioned on this forum a number of times that its an idea to sprinkle plain white flour on the floor and examine for footprints if you suspect there is a ghost in your house. Rule your sister out first though.

It would hardly be your sister, I'd say your house is definitely haunted.

Has anything else happened that you haven't mentioned? Even small occurances that you think might be insignificant? And how many pairs of trainers do you have??

I think it's very possible that your sister tidied up your shoes. And don't estimate a dog's climbing abilities; I caught one of mine halfway up a tree a couple of years back, and have also found her on the outside sill of the kitchen window, not to mention: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvkCtnmBWoo

Did you wake up to find your shoes tidied? Do you have a history of sleepwalking?
