Cube bikes - anyone got one?

Was looking at their website last evening and a few of the bikes caught my eye. I did a quick comparison:

The one in the middle is probably my favourite, but it's Ultegra, which I don't really need. Does anyone ride any of these models or know anyone who does? If so, what's your opinion on them and are they value for money?

    Hi,

I got my first cube attempt there about two years ago, from cycle superstore, tbh couldn't fault it for the value of money. The only part I changed was the seat.(the race ready std seat is a pain, literally:D) It came with ultegra as standard. I find it very solid on the road and precise. it was a triple.
being greedy picked up a new cube agree gtc sl, full carbon, fsa cranks, compact dura-ace from the guys in build a bike there in marys abbey just of capel s recently. great discount as it was the 2011 model.
Both places were execellent to deal with and I would defo recommend them.
I just can't fault cube for the spec and quality.

Though I would point out that I dont race so maybe someone who actively races one could fill you in on that end.
Both mine are 60cm frames, I'm over the 6foot mark and 14st too.

Yes, I reading older threads and a common view was that the frame sizing was slightly strange with a short top tube. I'll definitely be getting it fitted.

HI I have the cube attempt 2011.....It came with all 105 stuff.....
I like the bike...saddle is a bit sore alright....

My major complaint is that the rear wheel bearing is f*cked already....only have it 6months and not much done on it.....having the wheel returned to cube for replacment

I have a GTC Race. Great bike. I was between this and a Bianchi which was 200 dearer and a 105 groupset. The cube had an Ultegra.

For the price and spec they are a great buy. I took two different sizes out and found a perfect fit. This is a good idea no matter what bike you are buying anyway.

Great bikes. Got an Agree SL last year and can't fault it. Got it around November when they were discounted when the next years bikes were coming in. Got a full Ultegra bike for not much more than I was previously getting a Sora equipped Specialized Allez for. Have yet to come across a bad review of them. As above sizing is a bit small, I'm 5'11" and a 58cm frame fits me fine.

I got the GTC Race also. No complaints at all. Found the saddle to be fine for me and didn't bother to replace it.

Had a full season racing on it and loved it. Never gave me any problems. Also used it for long rides over 5 hours and it was fine. There are lighter bikes around, but for the price and kit it's worth it. Looks good also.

i have a cube MTB. not the same thing i know but a very good bike and very good value.

had it brought in by the good lads at the cyclesuperstore. they was best on price compared to other online websites so credit where credit is due.

Ive got the Agree SL - great bike, Ive done about 5000 happy kms on it and no problems so far. The only weakness in the package is its rider.

Have an Agree SL aswell, fantastic bike.

Have approx 4000km on it, not a single problem.

One thing I would recommend is to get fitted for it.

I went to the cheaper end of the scale as it was a first bike and I didn't know if I'd get into cycling. Bought a 2010 Aerial at the start of 2011 for nearly half price so value for money has been excellent. I'm 6ft and got a 58 and it's a grand fit and I've had no issues with the saddle- or anything else.
I'm making a short list for an upgrade bike and Cube is on there

Walked into Richies in Swords and priced a few up. Considerably cheaper than Cycle Superstore. Also had a KTM Strada 3000 with Ultegra for €1600. Looks similar to the Agree SL.

    Anyone ride a KTM?

Im thinking about placing an order for Gtc race as well but I am being steered away because of the delay in stock.CSS tells me end of feb possibly march the earliest. Looking at the new Trek madone 3.5 which got an excellent review on bikeradar.I can get one in a matter of days and start putting up the miles.Anyone got any thoughts.Should I take the plunge or wait out.

    You've more cash than me!

I ordered mine on a Saturday and it was delivered and assembled on the following Thursday. I've picked it up and been out on it.

Agree SL. I liked the look of it and it fitted my budget. I'm 5'10" and I went with the 56.
