Chromagen Or Alternative For Colour Blindness Correction

    Hi all,

    I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with ChromaGen contact lenses or glasses themselves or even an alternative for aiding with colour blindness.

    I'm curious about the costs, etc. with getting a pair (Lenses + Consultation, etc). Chromagen is the only one I have heard of, so if anyone else knows of any suppliers for another product that would be great! An English opticians is quoting rather hefty prices for the consultation alone. http://www.privateeyeoptom.co.uk/PriceList.html

    Donal O Malley in Dixon Hempenstall on Suffolk Street deals with these lenses, not sure of his prices as it's been 5 years since I worked with him.
    With the Chromagen lenses it's important that if you are applying for a job that requires you have to have "normal" colour vision eg electrician etc you have to disclose that you are wearing the lens.
