If there was a lifetime achievement award for bias, it would be for Mr. Alan, no doubt. However, I feel his crown has slipped somewhat this year.

By the way, does anyone remember Mr Alan's Nani vs Babel debate from awhile back?

    i can.

because people didn't bother their hole nominating :)

people only have themselves to blame if people/stuff isn't nominated.

the nominations thread was open an ungodly amount of time, hence we're only getting around to voting now!

It certainly looks like Mr Alan is being preselected - there's a swathe of other posters more biased than the alternatives offered.

Paddy Crerand or David Fairclough for me...

and I don't understand how people think Homerjay is a lot more biased than MrAlan and takes it to a new level. Saying that alone is being biased imo! :)

    Mr Alan, no competition.

His posts are borderline unreadable since they are so devoid of any sense of objectivity.

Once or twice I've considered he might be some sort of uber-troll fooling us all but no, sadly, I think he believes the things he says...

yawn...ive been as critical about united as anybody on here this year, so to accuse me of Bias is one thing thats wide of the mark.

i hate the club you support, i dont think that is bias, its called well, hating your club. City aint far behind, which is based on how their fans act generally when theres a game on, inside and outside the ground.

im well able to criticise my club where its due.

He got banned for telling a gob**ite where to stick his opinion and he took one for the 'team', there was at least a dozen of us who would have done it if he didnt get in there first (or we had looked at the thread around that time). How that lad got away with that sh1t without even a warning was an absolute disgrace imho. How a poster can bring Heysel and Hillsborough into a racism thread and not get 'burned' by a mod is beyond me. Anyway, he is back now in the thick of it on boards. (perhaps i should have kept some of that ^^^^for the forum thread in summer).

Wishing i had been around more when the nominations were going in, i wouldnt know posters from superthreads but would from matchthreads and there are some 'prize pupils' not up for nomination here. Shame.

Ric and chance of adding young daithijjj in there on that poll, with this kind of attitude he has the makings of a fine Mr.A. understudy.

Its not just Liverpool fans who find references to both Heysel and Hillsborough as they were made to be in very poor taste

A vote for Mr. Alan will only make his groupies, like the above, more vocal in their support.

Don't make Mr. Alan a Martyr

Corkman's insistence that Di Maria dives in a sarcastic fashion as if to draw attention to the plight of diving in today's game was probably the most ridiculously biased comment i have ever read on here. So ridiculously biased that i'm not sure he's for real.

LOL. Never saw that comment but it sounds epic:p

Mr Alan has to take this for pure consistency. I like him as a poster but I don't think I'll ever understand how somebody that is actually as intelligent as himself can be so ruthlessly blinkered when it comes to Liverpool related matters.

Mr Alan for me. When he brought the subject of Munich and how it was not important deserved a lengthy ban alone.

Voting for Mr Alan here will not make him a martyr.

He is already a bloody legend of the Soccer Forum. I remember when he started posting here, back in Aught Seven, back then he was even more biased, he's actually mellowed in the five years since.

Considering i post in mainly one thread in SF, the united one and have been quite critical of the team this year and alot of the tactics employed so yep i'm as biased as they come. But i do love the attention i get from you. Now back under your rock, until you want to point out my bias again.

fwiw i don't think anyone nominated me as the most biased poster. I wonder why that is? hmmmm

Corkman. Some people are sensible posters, but biased. Some people are just eejits. And then some special people are absolutely stark raving mad and will say anything to defend their club. Corkman was in a league of his own in that regard. He made the Madrid press look sensible in comparison.

Really, if you haven't read his posts do yourself a favour and look out one of the old Classico threads that he was involved with. Acid trip posting it was.

I voted Alan but in fairness there's probably much worse. He just sticks out because he posts a lot and the Liverpool thread is the busiest on the forum - so it's probably a tad unfair.
