Postage Costs

I want to return a shoe box sized package that weighs 1.5kg to the UK and from looking at an post postage rates it’s going to cost €22 euro. It only cost £6 to get here!! :rolleyes: Would a courier be any cheaper? Is there a website for comparing costs of couriers or is it a case of assessing each individual one?

My boyfriend says Fastway couriers are good and not too expensive.

I've never sent anything with any of these couriers so can't say that they are like.

Also, if the shoes are expensive I would advise using registered post, it is more expensive than standard post, but you are covered should your item get lost.

A shoebox sized package should go as a packet for € 10.75 as it's probably not exceeding the max. packet dimensions.

The person above is correct, I recently posted stuff off packaged in a big enough sized shoe box and it fits in the limits for a parcel. (once under 2KG in weight)
