Can't see beyond Schwartzel in Joburg to win at 10/3. Skinny price but justified due to his record here and general class.
Couple of € on Jamie Elson to place at 100/1 too.

Going for Webb Simpson in the Sony at 11/1. Looking for a run for my money this week and Webb is certain to provide that.

Would love to see Donald win the major his short game deserves so the US Open is the obvious one. Rory to exercise some demons in the Masters. Garcia to win one of the Open or the USPGA. In other words another year for the Europeans culminating in retaining the Ryder cup :D;)

Yup, agree with rehssu here regarding both Schwartzel and my man Simpson. Besides Goose, really can't see past Schwartzel but 10/3, I just can't do it myself re: single. My feelings on Webb are fairly known at this stage, went against him last week and near enough could have paid the price. But looking at the field as a whole in Hawaii this week, there are a number of guys who are worth looking really.

So 3 bets on this week for myself -

    Webb Simpson @ 11/1

    Keegan Bradley @ 30/1

    Schwartzel and ???
    - I'm not sure yet. I'll need a wee think about it - Stricker, Byrd, KJ and Sabbatini are the ones I'm looking at for this double bet. Will edit this in due course, probably by tonight.

Great minds think alike, or fools...... :D

Also gone with Willet and Lee Slattery.

And in the Sony KJ Choi, Chad Capbell and Nathan Green at a big price, gl to all having a punt!

I'm taking a chance this week with Bud Cauley @ 60/1 and Scott Piercy @ 100/1.

Bud Cauley had a brilliant end to 2011 missing only one cut in eight events, in those eight events he had two top fives. He could turn into anything this year and following on form 2011 I think I'll keep him on side for the first couple of weeks.

    http://www.pgatour.com/golfers/034021/bud-cauley/career/#uber

Second pick is Piercy who I taught had a good tournament last week, his stats last year wouldn't highlight him as a player who could perform here but based on last weeks stats he could be interesting at a high price. He also finished T12 here in 2009.

Driving Distance -269.6 - 13th, Driving Accuracy -68.33% - 6th, Greens in Regulation - 86.11% - 3rd......His driving distance is down from last year but his accuracy and GIR are up, he would want to improve putting though.

was on way down to back mulroy but mcgrane 16/1 in running and 9 under is massive price to me

Mcgrane has led many, many times after round one and completely collapsed. He's never to be trusted. The one time last year he managed to be in contention on the last day he sprayed the ball all over the shop and dropped trough the field.

Happy enough with coatzee but he still has a habit of throwing 4-5 terrible shots into each round.

Sure is. Did consider R1 leader with him too for half a second but won't dwell on it. We should at least get the weekend out of him :p

With Webby out of it, and while Bradley is still in contention I'm gonna have another small bet on O'Hair @ 25/1. Half considered him pre-tourney as he's fairly good in the wind.
