slight twinges when ment to be ovulating but on the pill

    Hope you ladies could offer your opinions!

    I often experiences slight twinges (say 3 or so times a day for two days) mid cycle but i am on the pill so this can't be ovulation pain right? They are not painful just a very slight discomfort, almost like a slight period cramp but 10 times less severe and not painful!!
    Any ideas what it could be? Its just something that has played on my mind because it always happens around the two days that i should be ovulating. Could my pill not be working and i am actually ovulating, but i have my doubts if this is it because it has been happening for months, maybe even over a year or more.... Does this happen to anyone else who is on the pill?
    I am on marviol, its a combined low dose pill.
