Problem with Playstation

    I was playing the other night and the laptop was on the floor, i kicked the screen of the laptop by mistake and the playstation turned off (plugged into same socket). When I turned the playstation back on it asked me to put the date and time settings in as if it was the first time it had been switched on. I thought it had wiped everything on me some how but my saved games are still on the hard drive.

    My problem is that I can connect to the internet now but when I try to change it to nat 1 it comes up " email address or password incorrect". I know it is correct as I can login to playstation as normal when I dont try to change it to nat type 1. Also I have been playing divx files on ps3 for months and now when I try to do it they wont work. Tried to do a system update incase something had happened but it says its fully updated. Anyone any ideas? I want nat type 1 to play fifa! Is the eircom settings still eiecom@eicom.net and broadband1

    When you are trying to get Nat1, you are logged out of the PSN - so that rules out your PSN details from being the email/password query.

    cheers for the reply, when I click test connection the first two tests come up suceeded and the the third which I think says playstion network fails so thats why I thought it was it. dont know what the prblem is :(

    i use broadband 1 and broadband 1 as the password and I get nat type 1

    I don't think it's trying to sign into PSN at that point - just seeing if it's there.
    Try setting up NAT1 on "User1", and test connection to be sure.
