corner fireplace

    Hi All,
    I've got plans drawn up by an architect and he has put in a corner fireplace in the sitting room, never seem this before, anyone on here have one?
    if so any ideas where you'd get a corner fireplace.

    theres nothing unusual about a corner fireplace.

    Its built in blockwork with a standard ope, fireback and surround.

    im not sure what you mean.

    theres no difference between putting the fireplace in a corner compared to on a flat wall.

    are you saying that the actual fire opening has a 90 deg angle in it??

    They are fab by the way - I presume any of the big fireplace showrooms will have them or be able to source them for you.

    We put one into our new build - a built in stove...looks good - will send on pic when I get a chance.
    Only down sides - it takes up a corner and comes out a fair bit into your room,
