I was wondering, if anyone had any thoughts on the following.

Attended a course run by a skillnet company. At the end of the course the gent presenting the course highly recomended the use of one company for supplies.

I know there are at least three other companies that would be as good if not better.

Is this allowed, I am sure that these are government sponsored/subsisided course.s

I would not say there was anything "wrong" with your tutor recommending a particular co. Is it good advice? Is ethical? Maybe not, but it is not wrong.
We do not know why the tutor promoted one company over another.
