Has anyone been here recently? Myself and two friends thinking of heading for a party holiday for three weeks.. Atm looking at the Frida apartments, anyone know anything about these? Also could ye give some info on cost of living there etc.
Or should we be considering Malia instead?
    Thanks guys! :)

Malia = English females and better nightlife than Hersonossis. Hersonossis is great but Malias better.

    Don't go to the Frida.

That's where we stayed and they were easily the worst apartments out there. Lots of stupid rules, especally when you consider it's a place that aims at young people on holidays.

You're not allowed to socialise on your balcony after 9:30 because of other guests trying to sleep

You have to be in your own room or at the bar by 10, not allowed be in other peoples rooms.

On the door it says that sheets are meant to be changed once a week and new towels everyday, our room was cleaned once over the 2 weeks and we got no new sheets or towels, the cleaners actually took 2 of our 4 towels, didn't give us new ones and then the owners tried to make us pay €10 per towel to replace them.

The owners are absolute c**** that try and rip you off money for absolutely anything that they can.

You're escorted in and straight to your room after a night out by the security guard (who is actually a nice lad but has a thankless job and has to be strict bast*rd).

Talking to other people along the strip or other people I know that have been there, they had none of the problems that we had with their hotels. Malia is 10 times better and 10 times cheaper than Hersonnisis. The majority of people there are British but it's like a different world in terms of price and not one of us had any trouble there.

TBH I'd steer clear of Crete and go to Ayia Napa or Spain or somewhere instead but if you do decide on Crete definitely don't stay in the Frida
