Brenchley wedding cars

A cousin of mine is getting married later in the year and they've booked one of these wedding cars for the wedding. He's been yapping on about how only 30 of the model in question were ever made and there is only one left in Ireland.

Personally I've never heard of the Brenchley brand and the cars in question are very modern inside and are in otherwise brand new condition. So I was wondering are these just reproductions of 1920's/1930's classic cars and sold to be limousines?

I can't find anything about them on the net, other than on wedding car rental sites...

    Hey tripper,

Those wedding cars are all less than 10 years old. Just an "old" look on a modern chassis, afaik.

At risk of being ejected from this forum, my wife insisted on one for our wedding.
(Hey, I did drive to the church in my '72 Fiat!)

So not really classic except in 'look'. :)

EDIT: Ours was a "Beauford". Same kinda deal.

I'd rather use a Fiat Punto as my wedding car rather than one of those yokes.

Thanks for the info Dades, I was thinking that would be the case. They do look classy though!

I'll not say a word to them I think, they're fully convinced that they're getting a 1930's vintage car and cheap as chips, who am I to burst their bubble :)

The 05 D XXXX reg plate on the car might be a bit of a give-away!

I hate those repro things, particulary Beaufords, tacky as you will get.

I should also mention that my father-in-law was paying for the gig so making personal demands for 70's Italian supercar would have been inappropriate!
