Can anyone advise me on a good National School in my area. I'm in Dublin 3, but pretty close to Dublin 1, 9 & 7. I'm looking for a mixed NS and religion isn't a huge issue, one way or the other. I was interested in the Glasnevin Educate Together School, but it seems they already have a huge enrolment for that year! Thanks.

What makes a school "good" to you?People often have lots of different ideas.Do you want a mixed or single sex school?Boy or girl?Big/small. Religious/ET/Gaelscoil?

By good, I mean, educationally good; that's the first consideration. I outlined my other preferences in the OP. Thanks.

I wonder if you posted the names of a few schools if you would get a better response or would you like this movedto a dublin board?

I have mine in a gaelscoil in finglas. I find it a great school. They are both thriving. The school has 2 teachers just for extra help if the kids need it. All the teachers are young and very enthusiastic. They're very quick at putting an end to the likes of bullying. I've never had any problems regarding the kids and i think its the best decision i made for them. They actually love being there.
