iPhone Alerts Style...

This is a minor issue, but it has been bugging me since I got the iPhone 4s. I have all my alerts set to appear in the middle as they have always done in previous versions of the Phone. However, sometimes the alerts are in the old navy style with the 'Close' and 'Reply' button and other times they are the new black glossy style without the buttons. I prefer the old style. Is there any way to ensure they always appear in the old style? Petty I know, but it's just annoying me.

Yes. I have chosen the correct style in there, but the alert box itself appears navy sometimes and other times in black glossy style.

OK. I have figured it out. The popup alerts appear in the old style if you are using the phone and it isn't in the Lock Screen. The black glossy popup appears only if there is one notification in the Lock Screen.
