    Hi all

For the last 2 days I've noticed that the outside temp reading displayed inside the car starts off correct when the engine is turned on and whilst driving rises slowly.

So for example last night when I got into the car it displayed 9 degrees and by the journey end after 20 mins it had risen to 37.5 degrees.

    It's a 2010 mondeo.

    Has anyone experienced something similar?

Maybe the sensor has popped out of its location and is close to the engine r exhaust now.thats all I can think of.as of there faulty they are either -50 or + 90 or something like that sounds like yours it's picking up the engine heat

Usually outside temperature sensors located in niches of front bumpers. The best idea to go to Parts department your local Ford dealer and ask them for sensor location printout (FREE:)). Then try to find it and have a look how it is fitted.
