Any clubs within 30 mins of celbridge with overseas membership

Hi all,
My girlfriend lives in London and has taken up golf and loves it and rather annoyingly has a better swing than mine(and I've been playing 30 years!).
Anyway she is from Celbridge and wansta handicap. Clubs are expensive in UK and she is home every 6 weeks and wondered if there were any clubs that would offer reduced fees for someone not living in the country(ideally 300 euro or less). She discovered citywest offer a membership for 250 but you have to pay green fees of 15 quid a pop which isnt ideal. There may be nothing available but no harm asking.

Give the following clubs a call and let them know the issue. I'm sure you will get some joy here: They are all approx 30 minutes from Celbridge and all good courses.

every six weeks means around 8 times a year

she might be better off paying green fees - there are a lot of deals out there

Blessington Lakes do membership including handicap for €150.

Also full membership for new ladies is only €450

Hi,

Leinster Hills Golf Club in Carlow offer distance memebrship for €150. Motorway the whole way down, probably 50 mins down, Its only a few mile off the M9 at the Carlow turn off.
