Has anyone any info on joining the RAF police, im looking into it and was looking for info. Ive been on the website, but would like to know other info, such as duties while deployed, Aghanistan for example. And also am i as an irish citizen eligible to become a police officer rather than policeman

To join the RAF Police you must be a UK citizen or holder of dual UK/other nationality and to be an officer you must be a UK citizen since birth.

However, as an Irish citizen you are eligible for both of these roles in the Royal Military Police in the British Army.

And as the Army has about 142,620 Regular & Territorial personnel as well as 121,800 in the Regular Reserve, there'll probably be more variety in your duties than when you're policing RAF personnel of 73,730.
