Advice - Summer internships US

    Hey guys,

I'm a 3rd year zoology student in TCD, I'm moving to the US to work on a J1 visa for the summer and was hoping to either intern part time or full time for a month in September (that's about all I can afford in an unpaid position.) I'm planning on a move to the west coast as thats where most seasonal work is.

Would anyone be able to suggest anything that might be suitable? I've been looking online for days now and it's very difficult to find anything thats open to undergraduate EU students

    All the best,

    'Ham

This mightn't be much help to you but these two sites regularly post internship opportunities: http://www.aza.org/joblistings/ and http://www.wfsc.tamu.edu/jobboard/. Most of the ones on the second site do specify that they're for US citizens only though.

A lot of the ones posted at the moment seem to start in Spring/Summer and are more long-term. But maybe from the first site you could at least get a list of institutions that do run internships and contact them directly to see if they would have anything to suit you?
