    Hi,
I was wondering is there any people or company's out there who give one to one Lessons (without breaking the bank!) that come recommended? I am just starting out and have a decent point & shoot and would like to get some help mastering the basics before moving up.
The thing is I can't commit to a course because I spend alot of time out of the country which can vary from weekends to weekdays away so I would need to work off my schedule... Any ideas!?

    Cheers.

Try here to start with - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056497274

Or set about organising one yourself for whenever suits your schedule. You'd be amazed what you can learn from a stroll around dublin on a saturday afternoon with someone who's a little further than you may be. It might even make a good challenge to get a walk with only P&S cameras. Get people to leave their lenses at home :)

Keep an eye to photowalk.ie for more events.

Events are generally open to everyone, easy going, with lots of helpful people about.

Probably not what you had in mind but worth tagging along on some of these anyway.

Not what I had in mind alright because of been a complete novice! but thanks for the invite anyway!
I won't be in the country for that one but I guess I'll keep an eye on them and see what comes up.

    Cheers

Yes composition, exposure, moving away from the auto setting to manual settings.

    30.

Landscapes cityscapes longer exposure photo's and black & white are what particularly interest me.

And level of experience is... Very little, a beginner really.
