    Hi

When i turned on our sky box this morning there was a perfect picture but no sound. This has happened in the past and I have been able to fix it by disconnecting the power for a couple of minutes but this is not working today. We have another box in a separate room which is working perfectly. Both are HD boxes.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks

    Dave

Does the sound normally come from the television or a surround sound unit? If it is the TV, it could be worth swapping the HDMI cables around (if the other box is also a HD box, or if you have an alternative HDMI cable) and seeing if the problem persists. If there is still no sound with the new cable I'd be straight on to Sky...

Sorted, tried it with DVD and had same problem. But plugged out tv and was fine when I plugged it in again
