Hi folks, Im thinking of going to Barcelona in March and i would like to go to a Barcelona match, I see they are playing PSV early March in champions league ans was wondering is there any members on here who go to the Barcelona matches regular and best way to buy tickets ,would it be buy before i go or buy outside the staduim as i was in Madrid about 7 yrs ago and picked up tickets for a Real Madrid match outside the pitch, so im wondering is it the same for Barca matches.

Any help i would appreciate, by the way the Mrs who has no real interest in soccer is coming, I think she will like the colour and show that Barca put on..

Barca play Leverkusen in the Champs League. Tickets are available on the FCB website

I have no idea what your online options are so here's what I know from limited personal experience. I went to the Plzen match in October with three friends. We went to the ticket office half an hour before kick off and got seats in the middle tier of the south stand (behind the goal on the right on tv) without any hassle (I can speak broken Spanish but the girl in the ticket office spoke excellent English in any case). Bear in mind that a Champions League knockout tie is probably more likely to sell out earlier though, especially if the first leg ends pretty close. I think the ticket office is open regular office hours (regular for Spain at least) so if you're going to be over there anyway, you could pop in at the earliest opportunity you get and sort it out then rather than have to worry about it until you get to the stadium.

I got a ticket at the ground box office on the morning of a game when I was last there 2 years ago.

However it was a La Liga game against Racing Santander, not Champs League.

Worth a try though if all else fails. As ullu says, get to the ticket office as soon as possible.

    And bring reliable photo ID.

They should be easy enough to get online. There's also a few, 3 I think, ticket outlets just off Las Ramblas if you keep an eye out for the signs.

    None of which are official.

Just go to the ground and get them at the ticket office. Nothing bar Real madrid sells out really

Excellent point - I had forgotten that we were asked for this and none of us had any. One of the lads blagged it for us by reeling off his passport number.

I'm hoping to get to a Barcelona match in May.
Looks like they sell tickets online, which you can print out at home.

I haven't bought the tickets yet as I'm still trying to work out best option for accommodation. If anyone can recommend a hotel that's family friendly I'd appreciate it.:)
