A decent one may be somethig like the Halfords Carerra Banshee. at ~€750 upwards.

With the full suspension bikes, it's a case of "strong, light and cheap; pick any two". the really cheap ones <€500 tend to have compromises in qiality and weight.

A better question would be what kind of cycling do you do, where do you do it, and how much of it do you do? Are you handy at fixing things yourself on a bike?

personally i wouldnt spend under a grand on one, and if i was buying one id try to have a budget of 1500-2000 (thats buying new), you could get a very nice second hand one for a 700-1000 euro (just be careful as its easy to buy a crappy second hand full susser)

if its a 1000 euro max and has to be new then get a good quality hardtail.

if you dont mind buying second hand there are great deals to be got.i got a Orange patriot on donedeal for 600 mark its would of been around 2000-2500 mark new.So there is deals around just make sure you check it over.

what kind of riding are you doing with it.
