A worm on Facebook targeted the usernames and passwords of Facebook accounts in the United Kingdom, France and other parts of the world. In all, 45,000 accounts were compromised, according to Seculert.
Microsoft describes Ramnit as “a multi-component malware family which infects Windows executable as well as HTML files,” “stealing sensitive information such as stored FTP credentials and browser cookies.”
One report says, of the 45,000 recently stolen log-ins, only half of were invalid or expired.

    Thought this was kinda interesting.
Maybe it's nothing but might be the start of more serious security issues on Facebook and how viruses exploit social media.

If this is more suitable in Security or Social Media, sorry mods.
Thought it was more general interest.

I thought Ramnit was one half of the joke, 'what do you call two Pakistani gays?'

    The other half being Jammit?

Note to self. Don't keep important information in questionable facebook accounts. The Government has a back door into these accounts after all.
