    I have one of these and I was just wondering does it need to be powered on constantly or would a week on / week off be ok?

    There are 2 of us in the house

    ya i know some people have them on a timer switch rather than constant on which is pretty heavy on lecy

    Thanks, it's something to consider, but I wonder if different models work in different ways, and I can't locate the manual at present.
