Wedding photographer recommendations

    Hi,

    Can anyone recommend a good wedding photographer. We are getting married in April 2013 in Mayo and are currently trying to book a photographer. I have done a lot of searches on google and have received some recommendations from friends but they all seem to be between €2500 - 3000, which is alot over our budget.
    The photos are very important to me, and there is one photographer that I like but am finding it hard to justify spending close to €3000 on this. I have contacted 2 cheaper people that were recommended to me but they refused to come to my house before going to the church.:(

    I would really appreciate it if anyone could give us some advice on this.

    I have Gary Barrett booked for my Mayo wedding. He is coming to the house before from Dublin and did so for boyfriends cousins wedding in Belmullet last year. His prices are nowhere near €3k.

    Our photographer was Magda Lukas (as in the photographer thread sticky above). We would highly recommend her, she is reasonably priced, stayed until 10 pm (got some amazing night time shots with her which are the favorites) and gets lovely unposed pictures.     I came across a girl called Nicky from Drogheda
    I am going to book her as my photographer and JBM Videos from Tullamore as videographer
    They have come together and do a combo deal when they are booked together
    Seen their work online and have seen reviews for them on WON website
    And u get a good bit of stuff included for free
    I am getting them for my wedding in May 2013

    Hi there,
    that does seem very expensive. Try vince tully..he works nationwide and has is, I believe, a lot cheaper. Good luck with it.
