I presume you have RF2 activated in the menu.

Hi ,yes everything is as it should be but nothing happening dont know if its box or eye .no power light will come on on eye even when in rf 2 and the box is showing no signal for it either.

Your coax isn't going through an amphlifier or splitter by any chance as they can block the signal. Also if you can get your hands on a multimeter RF2 sends out a few volts or some current, don't know which but maybe that would tell you if the box is ok.

hi what type of connections are you using? i found once before that using regular coax jack plugs can cause a problem best to use f type, also make sure that you don't have any of the outer braid touching the center wire one stray strand might not stop the signal but may stop the power for the eye to work . make sure the power is off while making any connections . hope this helps

I find once everything is connected up if you just unplug the box for a sec and then restart it, it usually works then.

Have you a clear picture at TV point 2? Make sure you have the rf2 feed going from sky box to TV upstairs. You may need to buy a digital amp for sky eye. Only 20 euro for a two way amp. They power up from rf2 feed. Never had a problem with my sky eyes after I did this in my house

There's no such thing as a "digital amp".
In any case, the Digibox RF output is analogue.

What you mean is a "SkyLink compatible amplifier". These are used for splitting the RF output to more than one TV. AFAIK they do not amplify the magic eye signal but merely allow it to pass back.

Hi all if the cable is ordinary aerial cable and not satellite cable thats where your problem ly's, make up a short length of satellite cable with both aerial connectors on each end then put the magic eye on one end and plug the other end to the sky+ box if that work then you know where your problem is.

make sure you have the sky eye cable connected to the rf2 12volt outlet on the box and not the ordinary rf2 outlet

make sure you have the sky eye cable connected to the rf2 12volt outlet on the box and not the ordinary rf2 outlet

Its 9volt and theres only one RF2 present on a Sky box (none on the newer HD std boxes)

Op, Plug your eye directly onto the RF2 and enable the RF power from the services menu.
If the eye lights and operates there then the problem lies with your cable or connections.
If it doesn't, then test RF2 with a meter or try another eye if you have one handy.
As stated above if you had to join the cable at any stage use F type connections and joiners.
