    Folks,

    My SGS2 has recently stopped picking up any 3G networks and as such cannot access internet/apps without a WiFi network.

    Wife has a Galaxy Ace on the same contract and she has no issues. When looking at phone status, the S2 is showing Mobile network type as GPRS - with options of network type GSM/WCMDA (AUTO) or both individually.

    The wifes AC shows network type as UMTS. In her network settings there is an option to use only 2G networks which is obviously unticked as she can use the 3G signal here. The S2 doesn't have option to distinguish between 2/3G!!

    Any inputs welcome - was grand up until a few days ago when this stopped working. At the same time I've lost access to gamehub saying I need to update a file. It points me to a website which no longer exists!!:mad:
