Having considered the possibilities of upgrading my current Dell computer, even started a thread on it here today, I am thinking of just trying to build a budget gaming desktop.

    1. What is your budget? [€300-400]

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming (Star Wars: The Old Republic & Call of Duty), watching TV through Media Center and general use.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? No

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? Yes, hard drive and TV card. Or will pick one up on adverts.

    5. Do you need a monitor? No

5a. If yes, what size do you need. ...

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? Current resolution of Dell 21" monitor, 1680x1050. No plans to upgrade.

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Card Reader

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Possibly, if its easy to do.

    8. How can you pay? Paypal, credit Card, debit card

    9. When are you purchasing? Sometime in the next month

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Won't need help building.
