Yeah. But it isn't so much as a kick as it is swinging my leg enough times to get it up to the height of my head. I doubt it would smash people through doors or anything.

The OP could have saved a lot of people a lot of pain by having a thread asking "Can you still get out of an armchair without making a little noise?"

Yes I can. Over 10 years of martial arts training will do that. In fact I can kick higher than my height.

Are you saying that if a loved one's head went on fire while you were in a strait-jacket, you wouldn't kick the flames out? You monster!

Yeah no worries. Didn't need 10 years training either. Its only kicking anyways, I wouldn't send anyone flying with a kick in the head or anything.

Will we ever find out who is the kicking king???

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,029 ✭✭✭Wicklowrider

    I cannot.

Back when I could do things like that, I used to like showing off by kicking a branch that was above my height on a tree near where I lived. I tried it once to often and flew backwards until my head hopped like a basketball on the pavement. I swear there were never so many aul wans on any street in Ireland as there were around me that day - they thought I'd killed myself. I was fairly dazed but just wanted to get away....

Kicking high is one thing, but the real question is, can you whip your leg back down quick enough that your opponent doesn't have time to grab it?

I can, 4 times out of 5. The fifth time I sit in St James' hospital waiting for an X-ray, and then walk funny for 2 months.

    That's how I roll apparently. :)

    Nope,
But I can kick 'balls height', which has served me well in all my streetfights.
