Hi, I've got the NCT next week on a 02 Petrol Mondeo, 100k which burns some oil, so think the emmisions will be dodgy. Plan to put something in the tank to help it along. What you think best for a petrol, in the tank during the test? - Bardahl Fuel Injector cleaner - Dipethane -???

If its burning its the HC readingwill be high, fuel treatments won't sort that, it would want to be burning a very decent drop to fail the test, a reddening or two between now and the test would do no harm.
